FAQs

How much is the membership?

The founding membership is $147 per month per family. This is a very special introductory price only available to up to 67 families. Please note this is the price for your family, not just one person.

What if I want to cancel?

The Farm Family Transition membership is a monthly membership. Cancel anytime. Should you no longer need the membership, or it no longer feels like a fit for you, simply cancel your membership before your next payment date and you won’t be charged. 

Please note that refunds are not available for the month in which you cancel, but you will maintain access to your membership until the end of your billing cycle. 

When does it start?

The membership officially begins Thursday, October 19th, 2023 with the onboarding training. The first live Zoom call with Elaine and her team will be on Tuesday, October 24th.

Will I have access to Elaine directly?

While you won’t have one-on-one time with Elaine, you will get live group access 3 times per month.

Plus, all members also receive an invitation to book a 15-minute complimentary coaching session with one of Elaine’s coaches to see if private coaching is a good fit for you. With private coaching, Elaine is typically part of the group family meetings.

How is this different from a course?

Courses walk you through limited training and once you’ve completed the training, you move on. With the Farm Family Transition Membership, you get to continue to learn, connect, and grow with us for as long as you like. We will have monthly themes and topics based around the coaching Elaine and the team have provided to over 1,000 families in the past 20 years. This stuff really works!

Plus, you get weekly access to Elaine, her coaches, and the farm family transition community to ask questions, share your challenges, and gain valuable resources and insights to support your farm family’s transition every step of the way. You don’t have to transition alone.

What’s included each month?

Week 1: We share the month’s training videos. You have all month to review the content. 

Week 2: Live Group coaching with Elaine and her team – to create an action plan and next steps. You’ll be able to send your questions ahead of time if you wish, and your privacy will be respected. 

Week 3: Live Q&A via text and video with Elaine to ask your biggest questions and learn from other member’s questions. Optional: Provide your questions anonymously via text directly to Elaine’s cell. Her cell is 204-534-7466.

Week 4: Community support. Confidential community social time where you connect with other farmers in small groups to share resources, hear success stories and challenges, and support each other along the way. This is a long journey and you need to share success and hope for change along the way.
